Dooralysis is a startup founded in July 2026 by Katie Kormanik, a real estate investor and investor-focused real estate agent. After overpricing one of her rental units during a recent tenant turnover, she wished she had a reliable algorithm for determining the right rental price — something that would take not just listing prices of comparable units into account, but the actual prices of recently leased comps and how long they had been sitting on the market.
She first built out the Rent Advisor tool, then realized that this same rental estimation could be used to help determine the highest-ROI properties — something she had been calculating manually for her investor clients. So she built out the Deal Finder tool, and has been enjoying using it herself to identify potential buy-and-hold properties in markets of interest around the US.
